Covers the role and responsibilities of the first aider, legislative requirements, consent, first-aid equipment, arriving at the scene, contacting emergency services, prioritizing treatment, clearing up after an incident, incident recording, minimizing infection, and barrier devices.
Covers scene survey, primary survey, Doctor ABCD, casualty communication, secondary survey, and the recovery position.
Covers the principles of resuscitation, respiratory system, airway maintenance, chest compressions, rescue breathing, CPR, adult BLS and AED, compression-only CPR, infant and child CPR, chain of survival, AED use, and defibrillation algorithm.
Covers obstructed airway, recognizing and treating choking in adults, children, and infants, with specific actions for choking cases.
Covers the circulatory system, types of bleeding, and wounds with embedded foreign objects.
Covers hypovolemic shock, anaphylaxis, epileptic seizures, partial seizures, and generalized seizures.
Covers contusions, minor cuts, grazes, minor burns and scalds, foreign objects, and small splinters.
Covers fractures, applying a support sling, heart attack, stroke, diabetes, head injuries, nosebleed, amputations, spinal injuries, poisons, and asthma.

To provide participants with fundamental first aid knowledge and practical skills to handle medical emergencies, cardiac arrest, choking, and workplace injuries safely and efficiently.
Written evaluation required by regulations, recommended for responders with a duty to provide first aid. Performance evaluation: Students must demonstrate required skills competently without assistance.
Valid for 2 years from the issue date, with an annual refresher recommended to maintain skills and compliance.
One day, 5 hours, up to 20 trainees per session.
Instructor-led training with practical demonstrations and hands-on practice using CPR manikins and AED simulators. Available in Arabic, English, and Urdu.
