Basic Life Support

This focused training equips participants with the knowledge and skills needed to provide immediate life support, including CPR and safe AED operation.

Programs Contents
Introduction to Basic Life Support (BLS)

Covers the importance of immediate response in medical emergencies, the chain of survival, and legal considerations in BLS.

Assessing an Unresponsive Casualty

Covers checking for responsiveness and breathing, and when and how to call emergency medical services.

Performing High-Quality CPR

Covers compression techniques (hand placement, depth, and rhythm) and CPR for adults, children, and infants with and without rescue breaths.

Safe Use of an AED

Covers AED setup, pad placement, delivering shocks safely, and minimizing interruptions during CPR.

Post-Resuscitation & Emergency Medical Handover

Monitoring recovery and providing essential information to paramedics

Programs Details
Program Goal

To equip participants with fundamental life-saving techniques to maintain circulation and breathing in unresponsive casualties until professional medical help arrives.

Participants certification requirements

Written evaluation required by regulations, recommended for responders with a duty to provide first aid. Includes practical assessment of CPR and AED operation.

Certification period

Valid for 2 years from the date of issue, with an annual refresher recommended to maintain skills and compliance.

Duration Session Capacity

One day, 4 hours, up to 20 trainees per session.

Delivery Methods & Languages

Instructor-led training with practical demonstrations and hands-on practice using CPR manikins and AED simulators. Available in Arabic, English, and Urdu.
